2 Arrested, Illegal Firearms Trade Busted In Cuttack Of Odisha

Cuttack: The Commissionerate Police arrested two miscreants who were allegedly a part of an illegal firearms trade racket in Cuttack.

According to reports, four pistols, two revolvers and 32 rounds of ammunitions have been recovered from their possession.

Other than firearms, the police has also seized a car and four mobile phones.

Two accused have been identified as Dipuna alias Ajit Ray of Biridi, Jagatsinghpur and Papu alias Ajay Moharana from Ganjam.

Various cases are pending against Dipuna and Papu at various police stations in Cuttack and Jajpur district.

The Chauliaganj Police got a tip-off about a probable gun deal and conducted a raid and effected the arrest on Sunday.
