Bhubaneswar: The Directorate Of Higher Secondary Education (DHE), Odisha will publish the first merit list for admission into Plus II colleges across the State today.
As per a notification by the DHE earlier the merit list will be published online on its official website samsodisha.gov.in. Students can check their names by browsing through the website starting from 2 PM.
Admission of all the students whose name appear in the first merit list will be conducted from July 3 to July 6, 2019 by 5:00 pm.
Based on the seats left after the first phase admission, the second merit list will be released on July 12, 2019.
Admission of selected candidates under the second phase selection list will be conducted July 12 to July 16. The left over seats will then be filled-up through spot admission.
Notably, as many as 4,06,177 students have registered on SAMS Odisha for admission to the +2 courses in more than 16000 junior colleges in the State. Of these, 3,75,961 had applied online and about 3.66 lakh had paid the fees.
