Puri: A 19-year-old boy from West Bengal has died after falling off the third floor of a hotel in Puri under mysterious circumstances on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Prem Sarkar. He was a resident of North-24 Parganas in West Bengal.
Reportedly, Prem had come to Puri with his five friends and stayed at a hotel on April 6. Later this morning, he fell off the third floor of the Deep Sea Resort. He was rushed to a hospital in Puri and later shifted to a hospital in Bhubaneswar. However, the doctor pronounced him brought dead.
The deceased’s family has also arrived at the crime spot and filed a complaint with Sea Beach Police alleging that he has been murdered by his friends.
The staff of the Deep Sea Resort spotted blood stains outside the room and informed the local police. On getting the information, Additional SP along with the police team and scientific team arrived at the hotel.
The actual cause behind this mysterious death is yet to be ascertained.
