173 new COVID positive cases including 21 from 0-18 age group reported in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Information & Public Relations (I&PR) Department of Odisha government on Saturday informed that 173 new COVID positive cases including 21 from 0-18 age group reported in the State in the last 24 hours.

The I&PR Department informed that 173 cases include 102 quarantine cases and 71 local contacts. With the detection of 173 new cases, the total positive cases rose to 1051414.

Currently, the state has 2001 active cases.

On the other hand, the Union Health Department said that as many as 7991 new positive cases and 393 death cases were reported across the country in the last 24 hours.

With the death of the 393 COVID patients, the death toll due to the virus rose to 4,75,128, informed the health department.

There are 93,277 active cases while 3,41,14,331 recovery cases have been recorded in the country so far.
