In the complaint, one Narendra Nayak of Kashipur block alleged that a local labourer broker Santosh Benia was sending her sister to Tamil Nadu along with 16 others to work in a thread mill as migrant labourer and shout police’s intervention. The complainant also claimed that her sister was being sent without the consent of her family,” said Pradhan.

“The labourers were being trafficked to Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu to be engaged in the Hindustan Thread Mill,” he added.
