Cuttack: Atleast 15 people were injured in a head-on collision between bus and truck near Tangi Bank Chhak on NH 16 under Choudwar police limits this afternoon.
The incident took place while the passenger bus was on its way to Duburi when the truck coming from the opposite side hit it. The truck, however, managed to escape from the spot.
Police immediately rushed to the spot and rescued the passengers. The injured were immediately rushed to Tangi Community Health Centre (CHC) from where four were referred to the SCB Medical College in Cuttack.
Police have started an investigation and are trying to nab the truck driver.
