1200 Non Resident Odias begin journey from Telangana

Bhubaneswar: At least 1200 (twelve hundred) non-resident-Odias (NROs) began journey from Telangana today in a special train. They will reach Jharkhand today.

As per reports, the said Odia people started journey at 5 am in the morning on Friday. They are scheduled to reach Hatia station in Jharkhand today night, Railways intimated.

These people are mainly workers who were stranded in Telangana due to nationwide lock down.

Once they will reach, all of them will be kept in quarantine.

It is to be noted that lakhs of Odia people are stranded in different other states due to nationwide lock down which has been imposed to fight Coronavirus pandemic.
