Gajapati: Huge quantity of ganja has been seized from Dengma village under Mohana police limits in Gajapati on Monday and three dealers have been arrested in this connection.
The three arrested drug dealers have been identified as Pradeep Majhi (36), Ashok Rana (36), of Balisahi village under R.Udayagiri police limits, and Ashok Majhi (22) of Jurapeta village.
Reportedly, police patrolling was underway Dengma-Kalameri road on Sunday while a van travelling from the R.Udayagiri area to Berhampur was intercepted.
The vehicle was stopped and investigated following which 12 quintal 38 kgs of illegal cannabis were seized.
The value of the seized ganja has been estimated to be Rs 1.30 crore, added reports.
