Ganjam: As many as 12 persons have sustained grievous injuries after the van they were travelling in overturned near Gopra village under Jagannath Prasad Police limits in Ganjam district on Sunday.
According to reports, 15 persons were on-board the vehicle which was en route to Jagannath Prasad from Tara Singhpur. The mishap occurred when the driver of the vehicle lost control and the van overturned.
The injured, who were rescued by the locals, have been admitted to Jagannath Prasad and Bhanjanagar Medical for treatment. The condition of five persons is reportedly critical.
