12-hour Atabira bandh by Youth Congress cripples life

Bargarh: Normal life came to a standstill in Atabira in Bargarh district today as youth Congress observed a 12-hour bandh protesting continuous power outage in the area.

The protest which started at 6 am in the morning witnessed a complete closure of shops and other business establishments.

Government and private offices along with schools and colleges also remained closed in view of the protests by bandh observers.

Local traders’ association and several other groups have also extended their support to the bandh off late. They are claiming that despite several attempts to convey WESCO the issue of power blackout have fallen into deaf ears.
