12-Foot-Long King Cobra Found In Ganjam of Odisha, Rescued

Ganjam: A 12-foot-long king cobra was spotted on the main road in broad daylight at Jagannath Prasad town in Ganjam district of Odisha.

The king cobra was spotted by the locals on the main road in front of Electricity Department Office of the town.

Locals immediately informed the Forest Department about the serpent and the department official rushed to the spot. The snake was rescued by the Forest Department officials along with the help of some helpline members. It was then released in the nearby forest.

The video and image of the serpent has been widely shared on social media. This shows the snake with a snake helpline member while it was being rescued.
