1 killed, 5 hurt as bus rams into truck in Cuttack

Cuttack: At least one person was killed and five others sustained critical injuries after a passenger bus rammed into a truck from rear near Khaira bridge under Jagatpur police limits here this morning.

As per the report, the crash took place after the driver of the bus lost control over the wheels of his vehicle due to some reason.

The impact of the collision was so serious that the bus got completely mangled from  the front killing one passenger on the spot.

Locals rescued the injured passengers from the bus immediately and rushed them to SCB Medical College and Hospital for treatment.

Police have reached the spot and started investigation into the incident after seizing the mangled vehicle and sending the body for autopsy.
