Bhawanipatna: In a shocking road mishap, at least one person was killed and two others sustained critical injuries after two bikes crash head-on at Tini Chhak under Godabhanja in Kalahandi district last night.
While the identification of the deceased is yet to be ascertained, he is said to be a native of neighbouring Chhattisgarh State.
As per the report, the deceased who was en-route to Dharmagarh area in some work with a pillion rider on his bike failed to spot another bike which was coming from the opposite direction and went extreme right on the road to dashed against that.
Both the bikes got completely mangled in the crash and the victim died on the spot.
The injured duo was rushed to Dharmagarh Hospital by local police later in the night and their condition is state to be critical.
