Bhubaneswar: A youth has been killed in a scary road accident on Palasuni Sqaure in Bhubaneswar around 9.30 am on Monday morning.
Reportedly, a truck stopped on the NH following which one blue and one white colour car came to a standstill behind it.
Thereafter, the speeding Hyva truck hit the white colour car on its rear which hit across the divider to the opposite side of the road on the bike.
Subsequently, the hyva tuck hit the blue car, bearing registration number OR-04-M-7697, crushing it between the two trucks. As a result one person was crushed to death inside the car.
The Mancheswar police along with ODRAF team arrived at the spot and initiated the rescue operation of the deceased youth. Drivers of other vehicles have been admitted to Capital Hospital, Unit-6.
The body has also been sent to the hospital for post mortem procedure.
A probe has also been initiated into the deadly accident. The whole scene of the accident on NH has been captured in the CCTV camera that has been installed in the area.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been ascertained. The driver of the hyva truck has escaped from the crime spot. Further details into the accident is awaited.
