Women’s World Cup T20: England beat India in semi-finals

Antigua: England beat India by eight wickets to enter the final of the ICC Women’s World T20 here on Friday. They will face Australia in the final on Sunday.

Amy Jones (53 no off 45 balls) and Natalie Sciver (52 no off 40 balls) added 92 runs for third wicket to take their team to the summit clash.

After winning the toss, India were bundled to 112 runs, losing their last eight wickets for only 23 runs.

Openers Smriti Mandhana (34), Jemimah Rodrigues (26), Taniya Bhatia (11) and captain Harmanpreet (16) Kaur got the start but couldn’t convert into big. Rest of the team couldn’t even touch a double digit score.
