Women Hockey Pro League: India beat World No 1 Netherlands, Odisha CM congratulates
Bhubaneswar: Hockey India Women’s team beat World No 1 Netherlands 2-1 in FIH Pro League at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar today.
For India, Neha Goyal gave the first goal in the 11th minute. Later, Sonika Tandi scored the second goal in the 28th minute. Yibbi Jansen gave netted the lone goal for the visitors in the 40th minute of the match.
However, Navneet Kaur was adjudged the ‘Player Of The Match’ for the splendid performance to ensure an assuring victory against the Netherlands.

Meanwhile, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik congratulated the Indian Women’s Hockey Team on the victory against the World No 1 team.
