Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan’s team Punjab Kings failed to qualify for the Indian Premier League 2022 playoffs. The batsman, who joined PBKS ahead of the start of the season, scored 460 runs in 14 matches at an average of 38.3. However, the team overall couldn’t make it to the playoffs. Recently, Shikhar, who often shares quirky and funny videos on social media, shared another video on Instagram that shows him being trashed by his father for his team’s failure.
In the video, Dhawan can be seen being playfully beaten by his father while his family members try to stop him.
While sharing the reel he wrote, “Knock out by my dad for not qualiying for knock outs.”

His fans and other cricketer friends took to the comment section to express their amusement over the video. Former India spinner Harbhajan Singh wrote, “Bappu tere se bi upar ka actor nikle.. kya baat hai.” Dhawan’s PBKS teammate, Harpreet Brar, wrote, Haha Uncle on fire pajii.”
So far, the video has garnered more than 8.4 million views and netizens are enjoying it.
