The Netherlands team plays hockey with KISS students

Bhubaneswar: The Netherlands Hockey team, one of the finest teams of the Men’s Hockey World Cup 2018, visited KiiT and KISS premises today. After interacting with students of KiiT in different campuses of the institute, members of the hockey team went to KISS where they played a fancy match against the KISS hockey team. The internationally recognised hockey players also taught a few tricks to the students of the KISS hockey team. Both the team and others present at the premises, enjoyed the game.

Asked to narrate their experience, members of the Holland team intimated that they have visited many institutes and places across the world, but never seen an institution with such a huge number of students. They were of the opinion that such a big number of scheduled tribe students are rarely found in an institution. They also lauded the way the students are provided education. They were astonished as well as happy to know that KISS students have earned awards in many international sports events.

Overwhelmed by the hearty welcome, the Netherlands team donated Rs. 2.5 lakh to KISS for development of Hockey.

Founder of KISS Dr. Achyuta Samanta was happy to know about the noble endeavour and in return thanked members of the Netherlands hockey team.
