Team India For FIH Men’s Series Finals To Reach Bhubaneswar On Sunday

Bhubaneswar: Indian team for the FIH Men’s Series Finals will reach the state capital on Sunday, sports department officials informed today. Kalinga Stadium will host the tournament which will begin from June 6.

The participating eight countries in the event include India, Japan, Mexico, Poland, Russia, South Africa, USA and Uzbekistan.

Earlier Hockey India has denied any chances of shifting Kalinga Stadium as the venue for the tournament in the wake of cyclone Fani which caused minor damage to the stadium.

Meanwhile, the state government has expedited the process of repair of infrastructure and officials said that the repair work will be completed much before the start of the tournament.
