Proud moment for Odisha: Anish Jena wins Bronze Medal at International Junior Science Olympiad, held in UAE
UAE: Proud moment for Odisha as 15-year-old Anish Jena, a non-resident Odia boy from UAE, has won a Bronze Medal at the 21st International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) held in Bucharest, Romania. This international competition brings together talented youngsters from over 50 countries to explore and deepen their interest in science.
Anish, a student from UAE, represented his country at this great international event, which takes place annually to showcase the science talents of young people across the world. The event took place this year in Bucharest, Romania, in the Palace of the Parliament, where participants displayed their scientific theories and practical skills.
Anish’s father, Baidyanath Jena, is from Dihasahi village in Jajpur district, Odisha. He is a Director-Technology Support-MEA in UAE. His mother Animarani Jena is a pharmacist. He was always keen on science and was an excellent student in his academic career.
It brought joy to the entire family of Anish, friends, and the entire Odia community in UAE and Odisha. Relatives have already congratulated Anish including his grandfather Narayan Prasad Nayak and grandmother Radharani Jena on this achievement. The community in UAE and Odisha has also welcomed him and celebrated his success as a proud moment for the community.
