Cuttack, Mar 30: The 64th Odisha State Athletics Meet will be held here from April 2 to 4.
According to the State Athletic Association, the opening function of the meet will be held on 2nd April at 9 am.
All the events will be held at Barabati Stadium, Reserve Police Ground and Satyabrata Stadium. However, all the throw events will be conducted at the Reserve Police Ground and Satyabrata Stadium only.
Around 1500 athletes from all the districts, Bhubaneswar Athletic Association, Odisha Police, Rourkela, East Coast Railway, KIIT University and Paradip Port Trust are expected to take part in the three-day sporting event.
The organizers have decided to conduct the competitions from 5.45 am to 9 am and 4 pm to 9 pm due to the severe heat wave condition across the state.
