15-year old Bharadwaj shot a 48 in the final to finish behind gold-medal winning Briton James Dedman and silver medalist Miki Ylonen of Finland.
This was India’s first medal in the competition apart from the bronze won by Sheoran and Keer in the mixed team trap competition, which had the status of a test event.
Bharadwaj, who is coached by Yogendra Pal Singh, belongs to Meerut. He had competed in all the three World Cups among the men this season.
