Bhubaneswar: The Indian Men’s Hockey Team made a winning start in their first warm-up match against Argentina as they beat them 2-0.

It was dragflick expert Rupinder Pal Singh, who is coming back after an injury break, who scored the two goals via penalty corner and penalty stroke in the match that was played in two halves of 20 minutes each.

“It is good to win a warm up game as it helps the confidence and this is the first time in a few months that we are playing a much higher ranked team,” stated Chief Coach of the Indian Men’s Team Sjoerd Marijne.
