Pink Ball Test: India to take on Bangladesh at Eden Gardens
Kolkata: India will play their first Day-night Test at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Saturday afternoon. They will take on Bangladesh in the historic Pink ball Test, which is scheduled to begin at 1 PM.
Most players from India and Bangladesh don’t have a lot of competitive pink-ball experience. In fact, skipper Virat Kohli hasn’t played a competitive Pink ball match yet.
The likes of Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, Mayank Agarwal , Cheteshwar Pujara and R Ashwin have played Pink ball matches in Duleep Trophy but it will be the 1st time they will play with the SG Pink ball.
The entire Eden Gardens have been decorated with pink colour. So much so, prominent places in the “City of Joy” have been lit up pink-colour light.
