A snapshot of the entire England cricket team closing in on the Pakistan batters became the photo of the day after getting shared on Twitter. The picture happens to be moments after the epic test match at Rawalpindi.

In the first innings of the Rawalpindi test, a total of 1,236 runs were scored by the teams. England scored 657 runs while Pakistan scored 579. From Ramiz Raja from the Pakistan Cricket Board calling the pitch a ‘road, to fans of the game desperately anticipating a result, a lot of moments throughout the match are notably worthy of being mentioned. Then came a bold decision by Ben Stokes. The skipper turned the match much unexpectedly by declaring their second innings at 264-7 on Sunday. Pakistan was given a target of 343 runs to achieve in a total of 130 overs. Pakistan remained on track in their chase, scoring 257-5 on the board on Day 5, therefore keeping another 86 runs for the final session.

At the last leg of the match, England fielders hovered around Pakistan batters while captain Ben Stokes stationed the entire team around the field. England cricket team took the title home, all thanks to Ben Stokes, for exceptional bowling and decision-making, giving a worthy chance to his fans to rejoice. “Test cricket at its best” and “Test cricket is the best cricket” was the general emotion shared by the entire fan base on social media.

The England cricket team took to its official Facebook account to celebrate the victory. A post was put up with a caption that read,“We took 20 wickets on THAT wicket. We don’t do draws.”
