Mumbai: While it has become a great concern of matter for the Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administrators (CoA) to take a call on whether India should play Pakistan in the World Cup or pullout of the mega international event slated to begin in May this year, many cricket legends have expressed their opinion over the matter. Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar too joined them this afternoon.
Taking to his twitter handle, Sachin said that India have always won against Pakistan in the World Cup and it is the time to beat them again. Therefore, personally, he hates to give the neighbouring country two points in the World Cup. However, he said that the nation always comes first, therefore he would back whatever decision is taken by the country.

It was learned that the CoA has drafted a letter addressed to ICC chief Shashank Manohar, expressing concerns over playing against Pakistan.
According to reports, the draft of the letter demands that Pakistan be banned from participating in the World Cup which is beginning in the United Kingdom on May 30, else India will recuse itself from the match with Pakistan on June 16. However, the CoA is yet to take a final decision over the matter.
Meanwhile, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has written a letter to the International Cricket Council (ICC) regarding its concerns and commitments ahead of ICC events including World Cup. The concerns include security of Indian players, officials, fans.
The BCCI in its letter urged the cricketing community to sever ties with countries from where terror emanates.

The CoA’s move came on the wake of the Pulwama terrorist attack which left 42 CRPF jawans killed on February 14. While the incident created uproar amongst the Indian, nations across the globe condemned the attack and backed India with the promise to fight terrorism.
