Manu Bhaker, Saurabh Chaudhary win Gold at ISSF World Cup 2019

Beijing: Young Indian shooters Manu Bhaker and Saurabh Chaudhary won a gold medal in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed team event at the ISSF Shooting World Cup here in China on Thursday.

The Indian duo defeated Jiang Ranxin and Pang Wei of China by a comprehensive margin of 16-6 to win the yellow metal. This is the second consecutive gold for the teenage duo at the SSF World Cup.

Bhaker-Saurabh had finished fifth with 482 points in qualification but performed to the T in the finals. The finals happened in a new format where the top two teams went head-to-head for gold.

The pair of Bhaker and Chaudhary had won the gold in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team event at the ISSF World Cup held in February in New Delhi.
