Kapil Dev participates in Vishwa Samudra Golden Eagles Golf Championship in Gurugram

Haryana: Former captain of the Indian Cricket Team, Kapil Dev along with Swedish Professional Golfer, Camilla Lennarth attended the 8th edition of Vishwa Samudra Golden Eagles Golf Championship at the Classic Golf & Country Club in Gurugram.

Former captain of the Indian Cricket Team, Kapil Dev told, ” PGTI is doing quite good, improving every year. I think one big tournament is this Golden Eagle tournament – Vishwa Sumudra.”

“They are doing one tournament in Delhi. But I think new sponsors are coming. By the end of the year, you will get all the reports. We are very happy. Corporate is coming forward and they are helping the Indian golf,” he further added.

Swedish Professional Golfer, Camilla Lennarth told ANI, “…I play tournament golf almost every week. I play on the Ladies European Tour. So this is just a different way of playing a golf tournament for me. It’s actually a bit more fun and a bit more relaxing. The future (of Golf in India) looks bright. I have a few Indian friends over here who play very, very good golf. And it just looks like there are a lot of young talent coming up. So the future looks bright… I like India. I like the people. I like the country. I went to the Taj Mahal the other time I was here. I’ve just discovered more and more things about India that I really like…”
