Cuttack, Mar 30: The Odisha women baseball team on Wednesday crushed Uttarakhand to enter the semifinal of the ongoing 25th Junior National Baseball Championship here on Wednesday.
According to reports, Odisha overcame Uttarakhand 16-1.
Odisha will face Delhi in the first semifinal of the tournament while Punjab will take on Madhya Pradesh in the second semifinal on Thursday.
On the other hand, the Odisha men team would lock horn with Punjab in the quarterfinal today to book its berth for the semifinal of the tourney.
The five-day-long championship, organised under the aegis of the Amateur Baseball Federation of India is being played at Satyabrata Stadium.
