Jharkhand High Court sends notice to MS Dhoni over case filed by former Business partner

Ranchi: The Jharkhand High Court has sent a notice to star cricketer and former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni over Business dispute. The cricketer’s former business partners Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Das filed a case against him alleging that he cheated on them.

According to reports, Diwakar and Das had made an agreement with the former India captain to open cricket academies using his name. Diwakar and Das are currently directors of Aarka Sports and Management Ltd.

According to the case filed against him, both alleged that Dhoni has cheated on them. Meanwhile, the cricketer has also filed a criminal complaint against them on January 5 in Ranchi. He said that Diwakar and Das continued to open cricket academies using his name without any authority given to them. He revealed that the authority to build cricket academies on his name was revoked in 2021. Moreover, he also alleged that he was defrauded of Rs 15 crore.

Diwakar and Das moved the high court, challenging the cognisance taken against them by the court of a judicial magistrate in Ranchi.
