Cairo: It is a matter of great pride that shooter Shriyanka Sadangi of Odisha has won a bronze medal at the ongoing ISSF World Cup here on Sunday.
Shriyanka got the bronze medal in the 50m rifle 3 positions mixed team event of the ISSF World Cup. Akhil Sheoran was her partner.
The Indian duo won the bronze after beating Austrians Rebecca Koeck and Gernot Rumpler.
Meanwhile, people from different walks of life including Kandhamal MP Achyuta Samanta and founder of KIIT and KISS University congratulated Shriyanka Sadangi and Akhil Sheoran for their achievement and wished them the very best.
It is to be noted here that Shriyanka is a student of KIIT University.
