India Women’s Team Captain Harmanpreet Kaur Tests Positive For COVID-19

New-Delhi: The Indian women’s T20 team captain Harmanpreet Kaur has tested positive for COVID-19 and is experiencing mild symptoms.

Harmanpreet got herself tested after having a mild fever over the last four days and decided to get herself tested on Monday. The result of the test came out positive and since then, she has been isolating.

The cricketer informed the news to her fans via tweet, Unfortunately, I have tested covid-19 positive, I am feeling ok and have quarantined myself by following all the guidelines advised by the authorities and my doctors. A humble request to all those people that have come in contact with me in the last 7 days to please get themselves tested to be on the safer side”

Harmanpreet missed the recently-concluded T20I series between India and South Africa due to a hip-flexor injury. She had sustained the injury while batting in the 5th ODI against the Proteas.
