Indore: Team India produced another clinical performance to win the ODI series against Australia with two matches to go. India now lead the series 3-0.
Earlier, Australia won the toss and elected to bat. They posted 293/6 in 50 overs. Aaron Finch hit a magnificent hundred – his 8th ODI hundred. He scored 124, while Warner and Smith made 42 and 63 respectively. Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav took two wickets each.
Chasing a victory target of 294, India started on a solid note, as openers Rohit Sharma (71) and Ajinkya Rahane (70) added 139 runs for the first wicket. Hardik Pandya 78 and Manish Pandey 36* have the finishing touch to make it 3-0 for India
India reached 294/5 in 47.5 overs. Pat Cummins took two wickets. Hardik Pandya was declared ‘Player of the Match’.
