India win 2nd ODI against New Zealand

Pune: India won the second One Day International against New Zealand played at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium here on Wednesday.
Chasing a victory target of 231 runs, the men in blue achieved the target in 46 overs with 4 wickets in hand.
For India, India lost Rohit Sharma (7) early. Sikhar Dhawan (68) and Dinesh Karthik (64*) hit half centuries, while Skipper Kohli (29) and Hardik Pandya (30) played useful innings. And, Dhoni remained unbeaten at 18.
Earlier, an all-round bowling effort saw India restrict the visitors 230 for 9 in the stipulated 50 overs. Man of the Match Bhuvneshwar Kumar took 3 wickets.
With this win, India levelled the ongoing 3 match ODI series 1-1 with New Zealand.
The Kiwis defeated India in their opening match in Mumbai last Sunday. The third and final deciding game will be played in Kanpur on Sunday.
