India to take on Australia in ODI series decider today

New Delhi: The 5th and final ODI between India and Australia will be played at the Feroz Shah Kotla here on Wednesday. Both the teams have won two matches each.

Australia had arrived in India having lost their last seven bilateral ODI series. The defending world champions had not tasted ODI success since beating Pakistan at home in 2017.

However, the Kangaroos, with their exception performances in the ongoing five-match ODI series and particularly the 4th ODI in Mohali, have changed the perception about the Australian team, two months ahead of the World Cup.

The pitch in Kotla is batting friendly and India will hope for its batsman to keep adding runs.

The Men-in-blue heavily depend on their top order batsmen, particularly on skipper Kohli, as the middle order continues to struggle.

M.S. Dhoni, whose absence from the team was felt in the 4th ODI, will sit out the Delhi ODI as well.
