Derby: The Indian Women registered their third win in a row, as they registered a massive 95-run win over Pakistan today at the Women’s World Cup. They had beaten England and West Indies earlier.
Earlier, Indian Women posted 169/9 in 50 overs. Punam Raut was the top scorer at 47 while Sushma Verma made 33. Nashra Sandhu took 4 wickets for Pakistan. Sadiq Yousuf took two wickets.
Chasing a victory target of 170, Oakistan bundled out for just 74 in 38.1 overs and lost the match by 95 runs. Only Sana Mir (29) and Nahida Khan (23) reached double digit score. For India, Ekta Bisht took 5/18. Mansi Joshi took two wickets.
Ekta Bisht was declared ‘Player of the Match’.
