India outplay Pakistan to enter SAFF Championship final

Dhaka: India beat arch-rivals Pakistan by 3-1 to make it to the final of the ongoing the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Championship at the Bangabandhu Stadium here on Wednesday

While Manvir Singh scored two goals, Sumit Passi netted the other goal for India. Hassan Bashir scored the lone goal for Pakistan in the 88th minute.

India will now face the Maldives in the summit clash on September 15 (Saturday). Maldives barged into the finals defeating Nepal by 3-0 in the first semi-final earlier in the day.
