In the 33rd match of the 2023 ODI World Cup, India will go head to head with Sri Lanka today, on November 2. The India vs Sri Lanka match is all set to take place at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai. The showdown is scheduled to start at 2 pm today.

In their first match, India beat Australia by six wickets at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on October 8. They continues their winning streak, defeating Afghanistan by eight wickets at the Arun Jaitley cricket stadium on October 11. Next, India took down Pakistan by seven wickets at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad on October 14.
In the fourth match at Pune’s MCA stadium on October 19, they triumphed over Bangladesh with seven wickets to spare. India’s fifth win came against New Zealand by four wickets at Dharamsala’s HPCA stadium on October 22. They sealed their sixth victory by defeating England by 100 runs at the Ekana Cricket stadium in Lucknow on October 29.

As for Sri Lanka, their journey in the tournament has had its ups and downs. In their first match, they faced a 102-run defeat from South Africa in Delhi on October 7. The lions were then defeated by Pakistan by six wickets on October 10. Sri Lanka’s third match ended in a loss as well after Australia defeated them by five wickets on October 16. However, they bounced back with wins against the Netherlands and England on October 21 and October 26, respectively. In their latest match, Sri Lanka was defeated by Afghanistan by seven wickets on October 30.
