Hima Das Wins Fifth Gold of the Month in Czech Republic

Prague: On Saturday, Ace sprinter Hima Das also known as ‘Dhing Express’ won her Fifth Gold Medal in 400m at the Athletics Meet in the Czech Republic.

Hima Das clocked her season’s best timing at 52.06s to complete the race. The timing is rather slower than her personal best which is 50.79s. Hima managed to set this record at Jakarta Asian Games.

This was Hima’s fifth Gold this season since July 2 when she ran her first competitive race in Europe.

Earlier the 19-year-old athlete from Assam won Gold at 200m Tabor Athletic Meet on Wednesday, Prior to her Gold in Tabor, she won three another gold medals at different events including a Gold in Klado Athletic Meet, Kunto Athletics Meet, and Poznan Athletics Grand Prix.
