Former West Indies Cricketer Brian Lara Hospitalised After Chest Pain Complaint

Mumbai: Former West Indies cricketer Brian Lara was admitted to Global Hospital in Mumbai’s Parel area after he complained of chest pain.

Lara, who had earlier suffered a heart attack, was brought to the Hospital at around 12:30 pm today and medical investigations were started immediately.

The cricketer in India for World Cup broadcasting role for Star Sports. He was attending an event at a nearby hotel when he experienced discomfort and was rushed to the hospital.

Meanwhile, the Hospital authorities have refused to divulge any information regarding Lara’s health. Further details are awaited.
