Birmingham: Despite a spirited performance by Indian bowlers and fielders towards the end, Bangladesh managed to put up a competitive total of 264/7 against India in the second semifinal of ICC Champions Trophy 2017.
Ealier, India won the toss and elected to field first. For Bangladesh, Tamim Iqbal (70), Mushfiqur Rahim (61), Mortaza (30) were the top scorers.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar (2/53), Jasprit Bumrah (2/40) and Kedar Jadhav 2/22 were the top wicket takers. India need 265 to win and reach the final of CT 2017. Pakistan have already reached the finale by beating England in the first semifinal.
