Nottingham: India and New Zealand have shared one point each after the 18th match of on-going Cricket World Cup has been abandoned due to the persistent rain here on Thursday.
Both the umpires Marais Erasmus and Paul Reiffel called off the match without toss at the Trent Bridge due to light showers throughout the day.

New Zealand retained the top spot in the points table with 7 points from 4 matches while India moved to the third position with 5 points from 3 matches. Australia stay second in the point table.
India and New Zealand remain unbeaten in their World Cup 2019 campaign so far. The Men-in-blue had won their first two matches against South Africa and defending champions Australia, while the Kiwis had defeated Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.
This was the fourth abandoned game of the 2019 Cricket World Cup due to bad weather.
