Bhubaneswar: Sale of tickets for the FIH Men’s Series Finals to be held at Kalinga Stadium started today at the Box Office near gate number -9 of the stadium and various outlets in the state capital.
The participating eight countries in the event include India, Japan, Mexico, Poland, Russia, South Africa, USA and Uzbekistan. The matches are scheduled from June 6 to June 15.
The organisers also announced that fans who have bought online tickets will be able to redeem them at the Redemption Counter near gate number 4 at the stadium. Organisers have also announced that all profits accumulated through sale of ticket will be further contributed to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, Odisha to help the state which witnessed large scale devastation due to severe cyclone Fani .
The tickets for the tournament have been reasonably priced at Rs 200 for East stand and Rs 100 for South and North stand for the group stage matches to be played between June 6 and June 12. Similarly, the tickets for semifinals and final to be played on June 14 and 15 June respectively are priced at Rs 250 for East stand and Rs 150 for South and North stand.
The Organising Committee has also extended free entry to East, North and South stands on first-cum-first-serve basis for all the morning matches which will start at 8.45am.
“The tickets at all the various outlets across the city will be available from 10.30am to 5pm, while the Box Office for purchase of tickets and at counter for redemption of online tickets will remain open from 9am– 12 o’clock and from 3pm – 7 pm respectively from Sunday,” said an official.
