Mumbai: Almost every individuals and organizations across India had their unique way of welcoming Indian Air Force (IAF) Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman back to the country from Pakistan. However, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and noted sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik’s special way of welcoming Abhinandan has been highly appreciated by one and all.
Taking to its Twitter handle, BCCI posted the photo of No-1 jersey with the Wing Commander’s name as the Indian crickets wear.

Likewise, veteran sand artist Sudarsan created a special sand sculpture at Puri sea beach to welcome Abhinandan.
It is worthwhile to mention here that got a rousing welcome at Attari-Wagah border in Punjab this evening. Thousands of enthusiastic Indians welcomed the hero amid music, dance, patriotic songs and chanting pro-Indian slogans like ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai‘, ‘Jai Hind’, ‘Abhinandan Welcome’ etc.
