Adelaide Test: India have a historic win against Australia

Men in Blue spell bound the Kangaroos by snatching the match away from them and winning by 31 runs.

Adelaide: India lodged a historic win against Australia today on the 5th day of the 1st test.  India won by 31 runs today. Team India had last won a test match way back in 2008.

Cheteswar Pujara was awarded the Man of the Match for scoring 123 and 71 in first and second innings respectively.

Ashwin and pacers bowled beautifully and battered down the batting order of team Australia.

Ashwin bowled out Marsh. Travis, Paine, Hazelwood, and Starc were caught behind by Pant. Cummins was out for LBW by Bumrah. Shami took 2 wickets as that of Travis and Hazelwood. Bumrah also took 2 wickets as that of Cummins and Starc. Ishant  Sharma took Paine’s wicket.

Australia were 84/4 yesterday by losing Finch, Harris, Khawaja, and Handscomb. They were all out for 291 today. Nathan Lyon remained not out at 24.

Ashwin had the best economy at 1.68 followed by Bumrah at 1.96. Both of them took 3 wickets each.
