Adelaide Test: Australia trail by 59 runs at stumps on Day 2

Adelaide: Australia were 191 for 7 at close of play in their first innings on the second day of the opening Test against India here on Friday.

Travis Head and Mitchell Starc were batting on 61 and 8 respectively on the draw of stumps.

The Kangaroo team still trail by 59 runs with 3 first innings wickets in hand.

For India, R Ashwin was the pick of the India bowlers, securing figures of 3/50 in 33 overs. He was aided well by the pace duo of Jasprit Bumrah and Ishant Sharma who took two wickets each.

Earlier, resuming batting at the overnight score of 250 for nine, India were all out without adding a run to the score.
