94 year old ‘super lady’ brings home gold in World Masters Athletics Championship

New Delhi: Where old people are bed-ridden and plagued by illnesses, this 94-year-old grandma has shown that age is irrelevant if one is passionate about something. Bhagwani Devi Dagar, a 94-year-old Indian sprinter, has demonstrated that there is no age restriction for achieving your goals by bringing home a gold medal at the World Masters Athletics Championships in Tampere, Finland.

According to reports, she achieved her goal in just 24.74 seconds, and the sports minister tweeted about it.

The World Masters Athletics Championships are open to athletes who are 35 years of age or older. This year’s competition took place from June 28 to July 10.

The nation as a whole celebrates Bhagwani Devi’s win. She has been greeted by famous personalities like Piyush Goyal, Hardeep Singh Puri, and Anurag Kashyap. She has also received well wishes from Chief Ministers of Harayan Manhor Lal Khattar and New Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal.

Bhagwani Devi has received admiration from all around the country and the world, and one internet user has called her a “Super-Lady.” He stated that her success will undoubtedly motivate the nation’s youth.
