The Union Bank of India (UBI) has opened hiring for apprentice posts as per the Apprentices Act of 1961. The application link will remain open till September 17, 2024. The eligible candidates can apply for a total of 500 apprentice posts via the official website of the bank that is unionbankofindia.co.in.
This Union Bank of India recruitment 2024 will be held across several states and union territories, candidates from diverse geographic areas can apply. The selected candidates will go through the training programme for at least 1 year. The trainee will receive on-the-job training covering a variety of banking procedures, goods, and practices. The apprentices will get a stipend of Rs 15,000 per month during the training period. There are no additional advantages or allowances available to the apprentices.
Union Bank of India recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
The applicant should have a bachelor’s degree from a known/ popular university or institution. The candidate must also be proficient in the regional (local) language in all domains (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding).
The candidates who are chosen will need to present their documents from grades 10 and 12 or their certificate attesting to their study of the designated local language.
Age Limit
The age limits to apply for the post is between 20 years to 28 years as of August 1, 2024. While the government provides age relaxation for reserved categories under regulations. Applications are required to check the age relaxation from the official website.
UBI Apprentice 2024: Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected through online written exam, medical exam and document verification.
There are four sections in the online exam, and each portion has one hundred questions worth 25 marks. Subjects like General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative and Reasoning Ability, and Computer Knowledge will be there in the online exam.

Step 3: Open the tabs for the application form.
Step 4: Log in using your valid email ID and register.

Step 6: Take a print of the application form for future need.
UBI Apprentice 2024: Application Fee
Candidates from the General/OBC category have to pay a fee of Rs 944, while Females/ SC/ ST need to pay Rs 696 and PwB category needs to pay Rs 472. All the candidates are required to pay the application fee with the GST charges.
