Railway recruitment 2022: Notification issued for over 5500 apprentice posts, Apply now

The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR), Railway Recruitment Cell, has issued a notification for engagement of Act Apprentices for imparting training under the Apprentices Act 1961 in the designated trades at Workshops/Units in the jurisdiction of N.F. Railway against 5636 slots. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the posts at the official website of NFR- nfr.indianrailways.gov.in. Candidates can apply form today that is June 1, 2022. The date for submission of online application is June 30, 2022.

Selection Process

Selection of the candidates will be on the basis of a merit list prepared (trade wise, unit-wise, community-wise). The merit list in each unit will be prepared on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which apprenticeship is to be done. The panel will be on the basis of average of marks in the matriculation and ITI.

Railway recruitment 2022 Age Limit

The candidate’s age should be over 15 years of age and not more than 24 years as of 1st April 2022.

Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years in case of SC/ST candidates, 3 years in case of OBC candidates. For persons with Disability, upper age limit is relaxed by 10 years.

Application Fee

Application fees (Non-refundable) –Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred only). Fee payment will have to be made online through payment gateway as part of
online application process.

No fee is required to be paid by SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates.
