OSSSC recruitment 2022: Notification released for 4070 nursing officer posts, Check salary details

The Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has invited applications to fill up 4070 number of district cadre posts of nursing officer in all 30 districts and 13 Medical college and hospitals under the Health and Welfare Department of Government of Odisha. As per the advertisement, the nursing officers will be engaged in all 30 district establishments and 13 medical college and hospitals under health and family welfare department of Odisha government.

The recruitment is being conducted according to Odisha Nursing Service (Method of Recruitment and Conditions of Service ) Rules 2019 and the Odisha Group C and D posts (Contractual Appointment) Rules, 2013.

Scale of pay

Pay scale 29200-92300, Pay matrix level 8, Cell-1, Monthly Remuneration: Rs 15,000.

Eligibility Criteria OSSSC recruitment 2022

Educational Qualification:

The candidate should have passed +2 in 10+2 system or its equivalent in GNM/BSc nursing from any Medical college/hospital of the state/any other institute recognized/ approved by Indian Nursing Council. They have to register their name in the nursing council in the state and have valid registration certificate.

Age Limit

A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not be above the age of 38 years as on the date of advertisement. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/SEBC/ Women category. Age limit relaxation is available for reserved category candidates as per govt rules.
